Twice the impact: New additions to insulbar Sales

We are continuing to expand our Sales department and are pleased to welcome two new colleagues right away: Gabriele Uslenghi and Michael Herbst have boosted our team, having commenced work on 1 September. As Key Account Managers, they each look after one of our key customers across the world. Both bring with them lots of experience from the window industry.

The inventor: Gabriele Uslenghi

A career in international sales was almost inevitable for Gabriele just from all the languages he speaks. As well as German and Italian, the son of German-Italian parents speaks French, English and also a bit of Spanish. His career has featured several senior sales positions. Most recently, Gabriele was employed for several years as an export manager with a well-known manufacturer of plastic systems for windows and doors.

The business administration graduate is also very technically adept. In his free time he works on inventions, large and small, above all in the field of window ventilation, thermal insulation and vacuum insulation glass – where he is also the holder of a patent.

The sportsman: Michael Herbst

Michael likewise has considerable expertise in the industry, not only on the sales-related, commercial side but also in technical matters. Having trained as a window fitter and technical business manager, he began his carrier in the production management department of a major window manufacturer and later worked in management in the installation branch of a construction products supplier. After this he spent over 20 years supporting window constructors and system houses in his capacity as Sales Manager and Area Representative for two companies in the field.

In his personal life, Michael is keen on sport: A passionate racing cyclist, he has already negotiated several mountain passes. “I really enjoy fine-tuning my bike, planning cycling tours and putting these projects into practice; there are a lot of parallels to my work here.”

Whether sportsman or inventor – both are committed team players and set great store by respectful interactions and long-term cooperation. They are looking forward to being contact persons, understanding the customers’ needs, and responding to these at Ensinger together with the insulbar team.

Best of luck & welcome!
