Ensinger receives Cradle to Cradle recertification according to the latest v4.1 standard

Ensinger has successfully completed the Cradle to Cradle Material Health Certificate (C2C-MHC) recertification for its insulbar products – making it one of the first manufacturers of thermal insulation profiles to be certified according to the latest standard version 4.1. The certification is an important component in the sustainability certification for the insulbar range (windows, doors and façades).
"This recertification shows that Ensinger not only pays attention to quality, but also specifically supports the requirements of our customers in sustainable construction projects – a decisive factor in the success of their projects," emphasises Matthias Rothfuss, Head of Application Engineering, Product Management & Communication WDF.

Highest requirements for material health

The new C2C-MHC v4.1 standard significantly raises the bar: it demands greater transparency in terms of raw materials and supply chains, stricter evaluation criteria, standardised change management and regular internal audits. Version 4.1 is therefore considered the benchmark for responsible product development and safe material design.

Certified product lines

The strategically important product lines insulbar RE, REG, LI, RE-LI and the new modification ESPOC have been recertified. They stand for energy-efficient and sustainable solutions in modern windows, doors and façadeconstruction.

Strengthening the market position

The new certification strengthens Ensinger's position in international competition. It offers customers demonstrable added value – especially in sustainable construction projects, where environmental certificates are increasingly decisive for purchasing decisions.
With its recertification according to C2C-MHC v4.1, the company is sending a clear message: responsibility, quality and innovation go hand in hand at Ensinger.
