BAU 2021: we’re part of it

Lots of cancellations for BAU from well-known manufacturers have filled the specialist media over the past weeks. We too have had many in-house discussions, but for us the arguments in favor of the leading trade fair prevailed. We believe face-to-face contacts in the context of the trade fair to be essential for developing and expanding a productive customer relationship. Even – and indeed particularly – when times are difficult.

At the same time, we are aware that this time the trade fair will be taking place under vastly more difficult conditions owing to the requirements for social distancing. In addition, many visitors will not be able to make the journey to Munich. We are rising to this challenge and taking a further step with regard to digitalization.

Physical booth & virtual space

For the first time, the trade fair will see us using a ‘hybrid’ approach. Visitors on site can obtain information about our products at the conventional booth; customers who don’t come to BAU can be guided through the virtual trade fair space.

Both the booth and the virtual trade fair presence will have interactive touch points. These touch points enable potential and existing customers to obtain information and receive advice in digital form from our experts, in order to answer specific questions directly and personally.

Climate change and conserving resources

In terms of content, too, our trade fair appearance is very much being shaped by the challenges of the future. Fitting with the key BAU themes of “The challenge of climate change” and “Resources & Recycling”, there will be no shortage of topics for conversation regarding innovative insulbar solutions for sustainable materials and more cost-effective methods.
